Blastin' Bean Dip

1 16oz. can refried beans
1 4oz. can green chiles, diced
1 medium tomato, chopped (can also substitute 1/3 cup canned diced tomatoes, drained, or cup salsa)
2 garlic cloves, minced (or to taste)
tsp. oregano
tsp. coriander
1 tsp. hot sauce
to 1 lb. grated cheddar cheddar cheese depending on how cheesy you want it

Mix all ingredients and microwave until hot. Serve with sturdy tortilla chips or corn chips.
To dress up the recipe a bit for entertaining, serve as the base for a layered dip. Add layers of chopped fresh tomatoes salsa, olives, guacamole, sour cream, and more shredded cheese.
