2 1/2 pound cabbage (core removed) finely shredded or diced. You can also add a bit of purple cabbage for extra color if desired. 1 small to medium size carrot, shredded 3 tablespoons sugar 1/3 cup canola oil 1-2 tablespoons finely minced red onion (or to taste) 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder 1/8 teaspoon dry mustard 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1/2 cup sour cream Combine cabbage and carrot in large bowl. Set aside. Mix remaining ingredients until smooth and pour over cabbage mixture, tossing to evenly coat cabbage. Add salt and pepper to taste. Refrigerate, mix again briefly at serving time.
